The UCT12dB is an ultrasonic composite/concrete tester for large grain and structure materials.
The UCTdB features an ultra wideband unipole wave. This ultrasound wave is generated by a step function pulser incorporated in an active transducer. Sound frequency is transmitted from DC-5MHz. The ultra wideband receiver also is incorporated in the transducer with an effective detection range 10KHz to 3MHz depending upon transducer.
This unique step function pulser allows sound penetration up to 10 Meters using a single transducer in concrete for crack detection, thickness measurement, alkali-aggregate reaction and material evaluation from a single surface.
